Platform holds a project room and studio in the center of Vasa
From 2025 the project room can officially be borrowed or rented for cultural activities, events etc.
General information:
Address: Kyrkoesplanaden 20 D, 65100 Vaasa
The space is located on the ground floor with entrance from the street
The space has two large tables, benches, chairs, projector, sound system
The space has about 30 seats / 45 standing places
The space has a toilet and a small kitchen with a refrigerator, coffee and tea maker
General rules:
No music or loud noice after 22.00
Leave the space in good condition
Do the dishes and take out the garbage if you produced garbage and dishes. Recycling point is located in the backyard of Platform.
After completing the activity, lock the door and drop the key through the mail slot.
BORROW THE SPACE:
Platform lends its space for free to cultural activities and events that are open to the public and have free entry/no fee for participants
Platform should be mentioned as a partner in the promotion of your event/activity. On social media, you are welcome to tag platform_rf.
During the event/activity itself, mention Platform and Platform’s activities, e.g. “Platform is an art association that runs artist residencies. Platform organizes events, festivals, artist talks etc. Follow Platform on social media to get updates on what they have going on.”
Platform lends its space to the same / person / association / activity a maximum of 3 times a year. After this, the space can be rented. *See rules for renting Platform.
Platform wants to receive full information about the program/activity being organized, including possible guest artists/speakers/performers. The rule exists to ensure that Platform stand behind the content.
If the event is related to Platform’s own activities, we are happy to help push the event by sharing the activity on social media.
RENT THE SPACE:
Platform rents out its space to fee-based/private activities or if you have already borrowed Platform’s space 3 times in a year.
The rental fee for one day is 100€, for 2 or more days the fee is 70€/day.
If you are renting the space for your activities you do not need to mention Platform in marketing or information.
